Sapa sits 315km north of Hanoi at 1,500m elevation, so any trip up here loses roughly 12 hours of travel round trip. This 3-day route runs the transfers overnight on a VIP sleeper bus (flat bed, blanket, wifi) so you sleep through the drive and wake up in the mountains. Day 2 is the anchor day: Fansipan Peak in the morning while the summit is clear, Moana Sapa in the afternoon for the Bali Gate photos. Day 3 stays in the valley at Cat Cat Village and Viettrekking Cafe before the ride back to Hanoi.

Sapa sits at 1,500 m in the far north of Vietnam. The valleys are cut into rice terraces and the villages belong to the Hmong, Dao and Tay people. This tour is the short way to see the best of it, with a private guide and a private car.
Day 2 is the big one. A cable car lifts you over the whole Muong Hoa Valley to Fansipan, the highest mountain in the country. In the afternoon you move to Moana Sapa for the Bali Gate, the infinity lake and the view over the peak. Day 3 is slower: a walk through Cat Cat Village, a Hmong music show and coffee on a ridge above the clouds.
Each day has 2 main stops and every evening is free. You travel to Sapa on a VIP sleeper bus, so you do not lose a day of your holiday to the road.

Daytime: Arrival in Hanoi. Private car pick-up at Noi Bai International Airport and transfer to the bus station in the city. Board the VIP sleeper bus to Sapa, set up with a flat bed, blanket, pillow, air conditioning, and wifi for the roughly 6-hour drive up the motorway.
On arrival: A private car meets you at the bus terminal in Sapa and transfers you to your hotel in the town centre for check-in.
Evening: Free time in Sapa town. Explore the Sapa Stone Church, the local market, or the food streets around Cau May at your own pace. Overnight in Sapa.
Note: Sapa nights stay cool year-round, dropping to around 5°C in winter. Bring a warm jacket even in summer.

Experience with the Meetup Team was fabulous. Atmosphere was very warming and cheerful - wants you get to know that there is a whole team to guide you through the days of touring. The crowd size was small and very manageable. Staff were very helpful and solved all problems straight away - making sure you are enjoying your day ahead valued. Visited Sapa in July 2026, as it is a wedding anniversary holiday, we decided to get a travel agent to plan the whole trip for us. It was a 6D5N trip to Sapa and Hanoi. So Shirley planned the itinerary for us; 3N in Sapa and 2N in Hanoi, with visits to many attractions in Sapa based on our likes and dont..🤭. She is very accommodating to our requests and make amendments to the itinerary during our discussions and also make good recommendations: where to go in July, where to take nice pictures etc etc (and we really took many nice pictures throughout the trip). As weather in July is not ideal, there are places which she advised us against visiting so it will not be wasted trips…truthfully recommendations. Then there was Stella who briefed me through the whole itinerary before our trip so that we are well prepared and also things to look out for while in Sapa and Hanoi as we travelled without a tour guide. That was very helpful as it was our 1st time to Sapa and Hanoi. She also keep checking on us to make sure we were doing fine ourselves, we were at the right locations without any tour guides. The whole experience was seamless from the time we touched down at the airport to the bus journey to Sapa, our trips to all the recommended attractions to our way back to Hanoi and finally back home. During the whole trip it was fuss-free as everything was well arranged for us ie the drivers were on time to pick us and brought us around, the lunch arrangements and access to the attractions etc, it’s all so efficient…we really enjoyed the whole trip and was surprised that all went well with no hiccups 👍. The team did a fantastic job with all the arrangements that made it a delightful holiday for us!! Lastly, the price for the whole package is reasonable with excellent service!

Vietnam was absolutely beautiful, and the people were so warm, kind, and welcoming. 🇻🇳❤️ Booking through Meet Up Travel was also a different experience from the usual travel agency. From the very beginning, I shared my dietary requirements and made quite a number of changes to the itinerary, and they were always so accommodating and patient with all my requests. They even went through the entire itinerary carefully with us to make sure everything was well arranged and the trip would run as smoothly as possible. What I really appreciated was how they were always there whenever we had any questions or needed help. It genuinely felt like having a Vietnamese friend we could turn to throughout the trip someone who was just a message away and always ready to help.
