About this trip

Sapa sits at 1,500 m in the far north of Vietnam. The valleys are cut into rice terraces and the villages belong to the Hmong, Dao and Tay people. This tour gives you 3 full days there, with a private guide and a private car every day.

You start with Fansipan, the highest mountain in the country. A cable car lifts you over the whole valley in 20 minutes. In the afternoon you walk down into Cat Cat Village. Day 3 is for views and photos: a glass bridge on the Tram Ton Pass and the sculpture garden of Moana Sapa. On the last morning you ride the alpine coaster down the hillside and have lunch above the clouds.

The pace is easy. Each day has 2 main stops, lunch is included and every evening is free. You travel to Sapa and back on a VIP sleeper bus, so you do not lose a day of your holiday to the road.

Good trip with big group!

We just returned from an unforgettable 22-day trip through Vietnam — Hanoi, Da Nang, Phú Quốc, and Ho Chi Minh City — organized by Meetup Vietnam, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything came together. Traveling as a big group with kids is never easy, and there were bound to be a few hiccups along the way, but the team handled everything with patience and genuine care. A huge thank you to Ted, Jennie, Henry, and Krystal Stella. Our tour guides went above and beyond to make sure every one of us had an amazing time. Each city had its own charm, and it was clear a lot of thought went into the itinerary. I really appreciated how hard they worked to keep everyone happy, even when that’s not an easy task with a group our size. Seamless Vacation

We were 5 older girlfriends who decided to visit Hoi An from Aug. 25-30, 2026. I came across Henry of MeetUp Travel and decided to book our airport transfers and tours with them. Needless to say, it was the right decision. They made me a detailed IT, met online with us prior to our travel to discuss details and most importantly were always reachable via Whats app. They readily answered our questions, gave good suggestions on where to eat, have clothes made and even located the nearest hospital when my friend wanted to buy some medicines. Our transfers and tours were excellent. They took away the worries of daily coordination and planning and all we had to do was enjoy our vacation.

Meetup Travel - Highly recommended!

Definitely the best decision we made to appoint Meetup Travel for our Hanoi and Sapa trip. Michelle, Chloe and team were so attentive and helpful with all the details to cater to our request. Amazing Vietnam trip!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Truly Memorable Vietnam Experience with Meetup Travel We had such a wonderful experience with Meetup Travel during our Vietnam holiday, and we are especially grateful to Hazel, Krystal, and Phoenix for making the entire trip so smooth, comfortable, and memorable. Phoenix did an excellent job coordinating everything for us — from our stay and sightseeing in Hanoi, to our travel arrangements to Da Nang, and our beautiful Lan Ha Bay cruise booking. Everything was handled efficiently and thoughtfully, which meant we could simply enjoy the holiday without worrying about the logistics. A very special mention to Hazel and Krystal, who went beyond just helping us with our travel arrangements. It was so lovely to finally meet them in person in Hanoi. Before we left for Dubai, they actually took the time to come and meet us and say goodbye, which was such a thoughtful and personal gesture. They also surprised us with the sweetest little Vietnamese coffee souvenirs to take home. It was such a simple but incredibly thoughtful touch, and it really showed the warmth and care they put into looking after their guests. We came away feeling that we had not just dealt with a travel company, but with people who genuinely cared about making our trip special. From Hanoi to Lan Ha Bay and Da Nang, the whole experience was wonderfully organised. Hazel, Krystal, and Phoenix were always responsive, patient, helpful, and dependable throughout our journey. Vietnam ‘26

Our trip will definitely be one of my highlights for this year! We booked a 4 nights in Sa pa and 4 nights in Hanoi. Due to our stay in Hanoi being a DIY, I would have to say I enjoyed our adventure in Sa Pa more. Although the weather was on the gloomier side, it was an experience that I very much enjoyed (minus the getting drenched part). Meetup Travel really met up our expectations when it came to communications. Ali and Hazel were very approachable and were flexible when it came to sudden changes in the plans. I also enjoyed the little event they prepared for me :> P.S. Ask for Lan as a tour guide in Sa Pa. She’s very down-to-earth and overall professional 🫶🏼

Highly recommended if you want a seamless itinerary! Friendly and capable team!

The team was very prompt and friendly, and Ms. Kim kept checking on us the whole time we were at Ba Na Hills for our day trip. They made everything a lot more effortless for us, from the hotel pick-up to our VIP pass tickets, all the way to dropping us off back at our hotel. The included lunch buffet was also quite delicious, and our tour guide Ms. Anh was so patient the whole time, taking our photos and even carrying one of our bags when we went on the alpine coaster (a must-try)! I highly recommend MeetUp Vietnam, especially if you’re traveling with family and want a specific itinerary.

A good starting point if you are

  • Love 3 full days in the mountains, with a private guide and a private car every day.
  • Each day has 2 main stops, lunch is included and every evening is free.
  • The cable car does the climbing: 20 minutes over the whole Muong Hoa Valley.
  • Short walks on paved paths, and the 600 steps to the Fansipan summit are optional.
  • You travel to Sapa and back on a VIP sleeper bus, so you do not lose a day of your holiday to the road.

Say so early if you

  • Dinners are not included, so every evening you arrange yourself.
  • December and January are cold and foggy, which can hide the valley you came to see.
  • The Rainbow Slide and the zipline are optional and paid on site in cash.
  • Day 4 ends when the sleeper bus leaves Sapa at 13:30 and reaches Hanoi at about 19:45.

The next step asks for real detail. Your dates, who is travelling, how you like to move, what you would change about this route. It takes a few minutes to fill in, because a local expert writes your itinerary from those answers rather than sending you a file. Nothing is booked or charged at this stage.

March to May and September to November are the best months. The sky is clear and the rice terraces are green or golden. December and January are cold and foggy, but you get a real mountain winter. June to August is warm with short heavy rains.
